Permanent Full-Time Bus Drivers - Ryde

Do you hold amedium rigid (MR) licence or above We offer a 4 week paid driver training program that will build on your current heavy vehicle skills and knowledge to navigate the roads as a professional Bus Driver.

About the role

We currently have multiple positions available for Full Time Permanent Bus Drivers at our Ryde depot. We are looking for passionate people who enjoy driving and want to service their community whilst delivering the best experience possible to our customers.

A little bit about our rates!

• Permanent: $32.37 per hour Weekday (shift loadings range dependant on times of operation throughout the shift)
• $48.55 (Sat) $64.74 (Sun) $80.92 (PH)
• $18.78 attendance allowance paid daily

Hours of work

Our drivers must be willing and flexible to work various shifts that may include weekends early morning and latenight shifts.

A large portion of shifts available for fulltime drivers are worked as split shifts. Split shifts work by providing two portions of work to cover peak service times morning and afternoon. The hours for each shift can vary but will generally require you to work between the following times:

• Morning: 6:00am to 10:00am
• Afternoon: 2:00pm to 6:00pm

Outside of these hours you can leave the depot to head home or run errands or you can choose to stay at the depot and take advantage of our driver facilities.

There are also some straight shifts that may be available with shifts starting at varied times of the day from morning afternoon or evenings.

All depots operate seven days per week with Sunday and public holiday shifts being voluntary overtime

Eligibility to apply

• A current and valid Medium Rigid or above drivers licence
• A good driving history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willing toundergoa preemployment medical checkcriminal history checkand working with children check.
• Have a currentNSW Driver Authority is highly desired(or be willing to obtain one)
