We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team of professionals in providing professional analysis control and guidance in government financial and budgetary accounting and reporting. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Senior Accountant you will be providing professional guidance and monitoring daytoday accounting activity for Commonwealth agencies within the purview of the Education Recreation and Cultural Development Unit in General Accounting. You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of federal financial reports and fund financial statements. You will also have the opportunity to routinely interact with the various local state and federal entities involved in the work of the unit. In this role you will report directly to the Education Recreation and Cultural Development Unit Manager and serve as the managers delegate for leading projects facilitating presentations refining internal processes and establishing procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday Friday with a 60minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) fulltime with occasional inoffice days when work dictates such requirements. Please keep in mind that while this is a fulltime telework position that can change at any time at the Governors discretion. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $66250.00(before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Accountant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience and graduation from a fouryear college or university including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting.
- Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A Masters degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience.
