Job Description
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer required to join a leading compressed air supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair service fault finding of compressed air equipment including compressors vacuum pumps desiccant dryers chillers compressed air filtration nitrogen generators and associated compressor equipment at customer sites across Yorkshire.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in servicing compressed air systems predominantly desiccant dryers nitrogen or oxygen generators blowers & dryers air filtration or similar compressed air systems.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Role
- To provide electrical and mechanical repair service and maintenance of compressed air products systems and solutions at customer sites across Yorkshire.
- The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance commissioning diagnostics fault finding of various compressed air and compressor filtration systems.
- Maintain repair install validation & testing of compressed air equipment including compressors vacuum pumps desiccant dryers chillers compressed air filtration nitrogen generators and associated products.
- Identifying and providing the customer with compressed air improvements upgrades or general aftercare of compressed air products.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer Requirements
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical and mechanical engineering equipment associated with compressed air.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer or similar with experience on compressed air dryers.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new compressed air customers.
- Good working knowledge of servicing compressed air systems predominantly desiccant dryers nitrogen or oxygen generators blowers & dryers air filtration or similar compressed air systems.
- Technical mechanical/electrical Apprentice trained HNC HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Part of the on call rota 1 week in 9.
- Fully remote willingness to travel UK wide and work out the workshop in Burton when required.
