SUMMARY OF POSITION
Animal Services is looking for a charismatic energetic peopleorientated person with a commitment to educating the community about pets for an Educator and Volunteer Coordinator. This position will oversee specific volunteer programs at Hitchcock Road Animal Services focusing on animal foster and community outreach. The incumbent will assist with and implement most aspects of the volunteer programs including recruitment screening placement retention appreciation evaluation and development. They will also respond to related volunteer inquiries and will otherwise have a general idea of the volunteer needs and services provided at Animal Services. This position will also work with Administration and Animal Care on the community outreach and animal foster programs.
The Eligible List established by this recruitment process will be used to fill current and future vacancies both regular and temporary as they arise.
