The Hiring Advisors is partnering with a Law Group with several areas of practice to hire an Associate Attorney. Practice Areas include Employment Law Personal Injury Medical Malpractice Real Estate Law and more. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cases from prelitigation through settlement.If you have experience scaling a firms practice to service the evergrowing number of Californians who have been treated unfairly Please Apply!
Daily Tasks:
- Management of cases from prelitigation through settlement with the support of a strong staff and advanced automated systems that optimize case efficiency (including CompuLaw NetDocuments Clio and others)
- Deposition experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent research and writing skills required
- Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients experts and defense counsel
- Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Bring a teamoriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
Your Skills:
- At least 1 year of experience in litigation.
- Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules.
- Superior time management and multitasking skills.
- Organized detailoriented and a selfstarter.
- Experience with employment disputes including wrongful terminations FEHA claims labor code violations PAGA and wage and hour claims.
