The Role

To manage and oversee the NTC Tennis Programs office operation while providing outstanding service to tennis playing community.

Schedule:

  • Sunday: 8:30 AM 4:30 PM
  • Monday Thursday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Collaborate with the ITC Leadership Team to create the annual mapping of Tennis Programs offered seasonally at the NTC.
  • Produce and manage the tennis program calendar and ensure program registrations are live at least two months in advance of commencement. Update the NTC website for each enrollment period and ensure all related information (ie. pricing dates etc. is accurate.
  • Manage programs office team by
        • (i) creating weekly work schedules
        • (ii) coordinate payroll time and recording keeping
        • (iii) establish annual performance goals/evaluations
        • (iv) deliver training for all staff
        • (v) onboard new employees.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Business Manager on the organization and sale of tennis programs court time rentals tournaments PACES and events.
  • Manage USTA assigned software platform integration including USTA Flex and Serve Tennis.
  • Collaborate with the NTC Tennis Programs Director of Tennis Operations (or assigned staff) in Junior Team Tennis production.
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the tennis program software system (currently Court Reserve) and collaborating with the Director of Tennis Operations (or assigned staff) on all Pro Staff scheduling. Ensure that staff scheduling adheres to USTA payroll policies regarding weekly hours.
  • Manage comprehensive programming and revenue dashboards for performance analysis of all tennis programs including generation of key reports related to program optimization.
  • Develop and oversee the NTCs tennis promotional strategy including but not limited to creation of flyers social media website postings email communications etc.
  • Manage NTC Tennis Programs social media platforms as assigned.
  • Work with the Sr. Business Manager to ensure that all customer inquiries are addressed timely (ie. programs student class assignments school bookings events and tournaments).
  • Work closely with the ITC Manger of Operations to create a cross functional team blending the front desk and programs staff to create an optimal customer service experience.
  • Assist with USTA NTC tournaments as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Knowledge and understanding of the game of tennis.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
  • Past experience leading and motivating teams of at least two or more individuals.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel and Google docs).
  • Tennis industry programming experience or Bachelors Degree in Marketing is a plus
  • Strong reconciliation skills and ability to resolve issues realtime.

The expected range for the annual base salary for this position is $. This position is exempt. Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for are not included in this range. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables including as appropriate the applicants qualifications for the position the years of relevant experience their unique skills and the location from which they will be performing the job.
