NFQ is a core technology partner for HomeToGo a dedicated team of software engineers and data science professionals driving innovation to power a marketplace with the worlds largest selection of vacation rentals. We are expanding HomeToGos technology team in Lithuania and are looking for the brightest talents to join this growing company.
HomeToGo is the marketplace with the worlds largest selection of vacation rentals listing millions of offers from thousands of trusted partners including Vrbo and TripAdvisor. From vacation homes cabins beach houses apartments condos houseboats castles farm stays and everything in between HomeToGo combines price destination dates and amenities to find the perfect accommodation for any trip worldwide.
Founded in 2014 HomeToGo operates localized apps & websites in 25 countries across Europe North America South America Australia and AsiaPacific. HomeToGo also operates brands such AMIVAC edomizil Wimdu.
Youll help shape the CRM platform that delivers personalized experiences to our global user base. Youll work with crossfunctional teams to bring business ideas to life through technology delivering campaigns recommendation logic and automation pipelines based on user behavior and data. This role is essential to scaling our communications infrastructure and improving the effectiveness of our marketing tools.
In this role you will
- Within 3 months: Deliver key improvements to our existing marketing communication pipelines improve throughput reliability and observability (monitoring/logging/alerting)
- Within 6 months: Take a crucial role in the development of one core subsystem to improve scalability and maintainability
- Within 9 months: Launch and optimize an email centralization system on a large scale
- Within 12 months: Contribute to the technical roadmap for CRM backend services aligning system evolution with business goals and crossteam dependencies
- Continuously: Mentor peers through code reviews and design sessions improve engineering standards and champion PHP best practices within the team
What you will bring
- 5 years of experience in building backend applications in PHP ideally with Symfony
- Know how to design clean scalable and testable systems using SOLID principles and design patterns
- Experience with SQL databases (MySQL/MariaDB) Redis and Elasticsearch
- Experience in building and operating highscale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with containerized development using Docker (Kubernetes knowledge is a plus)
- TestDriven Development mindset and care deeply about code quality and reliability
- Fluency in English and enjoying working in crossfunctional international teams
