About the Role: Account Executive

Location: Columbus Ohio. This role is remote but there is 30 to 35 travel for the year. Please note while there are other territories that are in need of AEs we are looking for Ohio based reps FIRST.

Compensation: 65000K base to 73000K base plus commissions. Bonus is offered full healthcare benefits and a healthy PTO plan to name a added incentives.

About the Company:We are looking for Account Executives to come join a growing PE backed security company. They are looking to grow 3x in 2025 and you could be a part of that growth. They specialize in Security & Access Management Managed Services Integration and more. As an Account Executive you will work closely with marketing product and engineering to ensure potential clients have everything a full understanding of companys entire suite of offerings. This is a hunting role which means you will be going after net new logos within your territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside product engineering marketing and operations during the sales cycle to keep updated on any new features updates or new information on company offerings
  • Manage the entire sales cycle alongside a Solutions Engineer: qualify prospects lead generation new business development account penetration consultative selling negotiation and contracts (closing)
  • Identify target opportunities to take large customer sales from their competitors where possible
  • Serve as the key point of contact with your customers; develop/nurture these key relationships to grow business within the accounts
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of customers and their issues to drive long term results and become their trusted advisor on the company offerings
  • Working with clients from 0 to 1000 employees
  • Managing your pipeline through multiple CRMs and Sales Tools
  • Traveling to conferences trade shows and client sites when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in business marketing finance or similar
  • 3 years of B2B sales experience security background is a plus
  • Proven track record of hunting new business opportunities
  • Ability to travel 30 of the year to trade shows conferences and client sites
  • Background knowledge in security access management data centers managed services IT Consulting or similar is a plus
