Job Description
Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 4 6 years
Employment Type: Full Time
Responsibilities: As a DevOps engineer you will beresponsible to automate the entire stages of application development byapplying the CI CD first principles to speed up the development and releasecycles while maintaining the software quality simultaneously. You will alsohelp our customers build scalable efficient and reliable infrastructure. Youwill implement monitoring for automated system health checks and workcollaboratively with the technical teams to instil the best practices to manageIT Operations.
Skills:
StrongKnowledge of DevOps Methodologies and how to apply them.
Demonstratedexperience in Windows and Linux server administration.
Handson experience in one programming language could be python JavaScript Bash
Experiencedto setup configure and manage source code management systems such as GIT SVNbitbucket github etc.
Shouldhave implemented CI CD pipelines for application deployments using tools suchas Jenkins any opensource or commercial tools.
Goodknowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes formanaging containerized applications across multiple hosts.
Shouldhave implemented configuration management best practices using tools such asAnsible Chef or Puppet.
Experiencein provisioning infrastructure using tools like Terraform.
Exceptionalknowledge on VMWare and Virtualization technologies.
Setupand configure systems to monitor systems networks applications operatingsystems and services for monitoring and minimizing downtime.
Goodto have experience in implementing CI CD using Azure or AWS DevOpsservices/solutions.
Workingknowledge on ITIL best practices such as Service request Incident ProblemChange and Release management processes.
Shouldhave the ability to communicate and collaborate with the product and technicalteams to design develop and deploy automated IT Infrastructure solutions.
Workingknowledge of Agile project management methodologies like SCRUM/Kanban.
Knowledgeabout security best practices in managing the IT infrastructure consisting ofservers databases networks firewalls load balancers etc.
