Position Summary:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Client Services this position is responsible to provide clerical and administrative support to the customer service function including welcome calls/checks property tax and property insurance.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supports the customer service and administration of mortgage servicing functions by sending out welcome letters municipality notices insurance notices and other Servicing related letters.
  • Supports the customer service function promptly receiving and redirecting incoming calls and retrieving voicemail messages.
  • Ensures adequate property insurance is maintained always.
  • Action notices for lapsed and/or cancelled insurance policies per day following set guidelines and procedures ensuring adequate property insurance coverage is maintained always.
  • Maintains excellent customer service via phone email and mail establishing relationships and following up in a timely manner on outstanding issues.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed notes updating customer data in in Servicing platform.
  • Follows company compliance policies and procedures ensuring all AML/ATF requirements are met and there is minimal risk to the company.
  • Administrative support includes scanning printing and faxing of customer service insurance and tax letters.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degrees Diplomas & Certifications:

The position requires a college diploma or equivalent.

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

  • The position requires at least 1 year of experience in a financial services or Banking environment.
  • Comfortable withrepetitivetasks and be able to multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable to work in a paperless environment.
  • Interpersonal communication listening skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Sets priorities remains disciplined and organizes your workload through time management.
  • Bilingual (English/French) with strong French language skills (both written and verbal) is a requirement.
