Job Description

Join Catch22 as a Project Worker supporting service users in remand within HMP Wandsworth or HMP Pentonville. In this pivotal role you will deliver interventions that deter violence promote life skills and provide practical support for prisoners during their transition.

You will:

  • Organise and manage remand support hubs offering guidance on housing ID banking and employment.
  • Deliver Catch22s Life Skills Programme through group sessions and tailored interventions.
  • Collaborate with prison staff and external agencies to provide coordinated support.
  • Use strengthsbased and solutionfocused approaches to address individual needs.
  • Respond to referrals creating action plans that reduce risks of violence.

This is an opportunity to build rapport with vulnerable individuals enabling their reintegration into society while fostering a safer prison environment.


Qualifications :

Essential:

  • Experience working within custodial settings or with highrisk individuals.
  • Strong advocacy and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding housing and employment support systems.

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications in youth justice criminology or related fields.
  • Experience delivering onetoone and group interventions.

Contract: Permanent

Hours & work pattern: Full time 38 hours per week. 

Salary: 31200

Location: Based at HMP Feltham.
