Job Description

Nurse SupervisorAcute Care Unit
RN Required
3rd Shift Required 8 or 10 hour shifts)
Mental Health Services (MHS) is a community based mental and behavioral health agency located in the heart of Springfield. MHS serves the Clark and Madison County area with Outpatient Services Adolescent & Youth Services and a 16bed Acute Care InPatient Unit open 24 hours located inside our Main Building on Springs Street.

We are currently looking for a Nursing Supervisor to oversee our adult inpatient unit located in Springfield OH. This position works 40 hours per week (We are flexible with 8 or 10 hour shifts) assisting the DON with all aspects of care on the unit. You will oversee the MHTs and nurses working on the unit. This is a 3rd shift position and will also have some oncall/weekend/holiday requirements.

Candidates must have:
  • OH RN license active and valid
  • 1 year of behavioral or mental health experience as a nurse
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • CPR
  • NVCI
MHS provides CPR/First Aid and NVCI (CPI Blue) for all new staff along with ongoing education and onthejob training opportunities.
All MHS candidates are required to have an Ohio BCI check (FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years or for working with children) 5panel drug screen and Residential candidates must a 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment.
