Job Description

As a Business Development Manager you are a driven selfstarter who will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding the market presence in Africa / South Asia. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans building strong relationships with digital healthcare innovators and growing the revenue effective sales strategies and customer engagement.

At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales with a strong preference for experience in healthcare technology or software sales.
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Healthcare Management or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing digital health technologies including data protection intellectual property and licensing.
Uptodate knowledge of digital health technologieselectronic medical records (EMR) regulatory environments industry trends business models and scientific advancements. Ability to apply this knowledge to ensure that strategies recommendations and project outcomes are current and compliant with evolving standards.
Strong foundational knowledge in information technology including networks hardware software and Cloud.
Experience working with health systems and payers on digital transformation topics and indepth knowledge of healthcare systems electronic medical records (EMR) and software solutions.
Secondary experience in a SaaS or Platform fastpaced hypergrowth startup environment
Expertise across commercial activities client services and partnerships; with prior experience in consulting preferred
Strong understanding of public and private healthcare sectors in Africa and or South Asia.
Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive health

Strategy Developement:
Lead the development and of health innovation strategies including the identifi cation of opportunities for digital health technologies and creating detailed strategic plans tailored to client needs.
Draft strate
Build strong relationships with our foundational customers working closely together with them to outline longterm health assurance and business goals.
Support team leadership in rolling out systems and procedures in support of the identifi cation engagement and development of strategic partnerships
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing ensuring a high conversion rate.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients showcasing the features and capabilities of our software.
Stay updated on industry and digital trends market conditions and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Commercialization and GoToMarket (GTM) Strategy:
Develop and implement commercialization and GTM strategies for digital health innovations ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements and market needs.
Client and Partner Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients key opinion leaders and ecosystem partners.
Collaborate with clients and digital healthcare innovators to understand their needs and align innovation strategies accordingly.
Provide clients with consultative support including product demonstrations presentations and customised solution proposals.
Market Landscape Technology Analysis & CrossFunctional Collaboration:
Conduct comprehensive market analyses competitive landscape assessments analysis of care pathways and scientifi c literature reviews and technology scouting to identify emerging trends potential partners and innovative solutions in digital health.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop relevant and targeted campaigns sales collateral and events that support lead generation and client engagement.
Collaborate with the product and technical teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development and to tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
Partner with the customer support team to ensure a seamless postsale experience and high customer satisfaction.
