Job Description

Position Summary
The Indiana University Jacobs School of Music seeks an innovative educator to teach in the newly established Music Production degree in a track that focuses on audio engineering. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an active program of research and creative activity in the field. Maintain involvement with appropriate professional organizations such as the Audio Engineering Society AES and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences NARAS . Participate in course design and curriculum development including online and hybrid courses. Foster collaboration with other Indiana University units such as The Media School; Kelley School of Business; and Luddy School of Informatics Computing and Engineering. Develop music industry professional connections that benefit the Music Industry Department and its students. Supervise Audio Engineering students engaged in audio production for the Jacobs Schools performance activities. Student advising student recruitment and service on departmental and Jacobs School committees is expected.
