Would you like to build impactful mobile software building blocks that empowers hundreds of engineers build and ship new delightful features every day. Our team is responsible for creating the best delivery experience for transporters wherever they deliver packages using their favorite Android or iOS devices. As a Software Development Engineer within the Flex Mobile Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast fluid and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide.
A day in the life
Our team forms the foundation of the Amazon Flex platform supporting multiple feature teams and enabling hundreds of thousands of delivery partners worldwide. We pride ourselves on our collaborative culture where knowledge sharing and architectural discussions are central to our workflow. The teams indepth engineering practices and robust system design have resulted in excellent platform stability. We maintain efficient operations and wellstructured oncall processes. Our emphasis on continuous learning and professional development creates an environment where team members can grow their skills while delivering impactful solutions at scale
5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
5 years of leading Mobile design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing Android systems with Kotlin and KMP.
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
