A successful candidate will be a strategic thinker highly analytical creative demonstrates an ability to influence business owners and supports decision making in rapidly evolving environments. The role requires a selfstarter with the ability to be strategic analytical and have a demonstrated ability to effectively manage the financial responsibilities of a complex business. It requires strong business modeling skills a keen attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment. The candidate must have the aptitude to incorporate new approaches and methodologies (including statistical concepts) while dealing with big data. This role also has regular interaction with executives and various business units across Amazon and therefore requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Leading the financial planning and forecasting process for a new Alexa product worldwide
Building and presenting KPI dashboards with financial and business insights each month and quarter
Owning finance communication with the business teams on product performance long term planning risks and opportunities.
Driving automation and scale of financial reporting in order to simplify process for internal stakeholders (e.g. finance peers and monetization partners)
Lead deep dives into key cost drivers for month end reviews forecasts and annual operating plans
Building financial models for new business concepts
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelors degree in BI finance engineering statistics computer science mathematics finance or equivalent quantitative field or Bachelors degree and 5 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
