As a member of our interdisciplinary team contributes professional prehospital EMS knowledge and skills to patients and their families. Maintains excellent patient service skills is able to work well under pressure and make quick decisions about patient health. Provides Advanced Life Support level skills and maintains an advanced skill set. Mentors and supervises other EMS staff and provides direction and assistance during shift operations. Actively involved in decision making and demonstrates the skills of leadership planning coordination and communication.
Completes the M1 (Supervisor) duties outlined by organizations UPH Career Leveling Guide.

Basic UPH Performance Criteria
High school graduate or equivalent; Successful completion of EMS training from an approved training course; 2 years of paramedic experience; Current certification at EMTPM level is required; Writes reads comprehends and speaks fluent English; Basic computer knowledge using word processing spreadsheet email and web browser.
Current certification in AHAs BLS PALS and ACLS.
Valid Iowa drivers license for at least three years with an acceptable or clear rating according to the Motor Vehicle Record chart. (see below).
