The successful candidate that can work effectively with students colleagues staff and others in a campus climate that promotes cultural diversity.
This position is for a Career and Technical Education teaching position focused on getting students jobs upon graduation and working closely with industry partners to tailor curriculum to job needs.
Green River College takes great pride in being a leader in the Forestry and Natural Resources fields in the tristate area of Washington Oregon and Idaho offering 5 AAS degrees and two concentrations Resource Sampling and Operations in the BAS Program.ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Green River Colleges student body is made up of approximately 41 Academic Transfer students 34 Professional Technical 15 Adult Basic Education 3 Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses including the main campus in Auburn with satellite campuses in Kent downtown Auburn and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college) those seeking retraining for the workforce international students students learning English as a second language and Continuing Education students. Green Rivers service areas are increasingly ethnically diverse comprising African Americans African immigrants Asian Americans Asians Latinx Native Americans Pacific Islanders and Middle Eastern Americans among other communities.

This is a fulltime tenuretrack position beginning fall 2025 continuing with annual ninemonth contracts. The salary will be determined according to the candidates educational background teaching experience and applicable work experience.
