Position Overview:
As a Media Analyst you will support Targets programmatic Trading Team to help meet the needs of Brand Category Marketing and Target Media Network businesses. This position is focused on analyzing performance creating optimization recommendations and evolving bid strategies. They will assist in managing the daytoday tasks associated to campaign set up and management. This vital role will interface closely with internal support teams and Targets agencies to improve marketing outcomes. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for digital media an eye for detail and an enthusiasm for problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Understandthe campaign needs of our media vendor
Workclosely with all teams includingMedia AnalystsActivationand Product teamsto ensure work is connected tomeet vendorgoals
Understand and analyse theMedia Plan and ensure the campaign is setaccordingly
Manage the budget of the campaigns and effectively shift it between different media channels
Provide optimization strategies holistically across the campaign channels based on unique campaign objectives; channels may includeT display mobile video social and search; consider creative and audience optimization tactics.
Observe and evaluate trends of media campaigns and provide recommendations for optimization tactics to help drive campaign efficiency and effectiveness
Align with Media Planning team to translate patterns in campaign performance into future recommendations
Understand and analyse the campaign reporting in different media tools and servers (DFP DCM FB Operative One DBMYieldEx Pinterest).
Advanced knowledge of DSPs i.e. DBM Appnexus Mediamath Liveramp Tuebmogul Brightroll etc.
Have good understanding of DMP workflows & audience segmentation.
About You:
2 7 years of experience in digital marketing focused on ad operations analytics or media .
Manage the budget of the campaigns and effectively shift it between different media channels
Provide optimization strategies holistically across the campaign channels based on unique campaign objectives; channels may include T display mobile video social and search; consider creative and audience optimization tactics.
Observe and evaluate trends of media campaigns and provide recommendations for optimization tactics to help drive campaign efficiency and effectiveness
Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills.
NonTechnical / Soft skills Requirement:
Exhibits excellent communication skills & ability to learn quickly
Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work independently with limited supervision
Diligent solutionfocused with a cando attitude
Effective time management and organization skills
Eager to get things done and highly selfmotivated
