This is a remote position.

Role Name: Sales Development Specialist

Schedule:

  • 35 hours per week: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm EST.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing beverage brand at a pivotal moment in its expansion. As an Inside Sales Development Specialist you ll be the crucial first point of contact with potential retail partners across Georgia working closely with our established distribution network to drive market presence. This role combines strategic outreach relationship building and coordination with field sales teams to create seamless product introductions. You ll have access to a database of 9000 qualified retail locations and will work directly with company leadership to execute market penetration strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic outreach campaigns to retail decisionmakers across Georgia using both phone and email communication
  • Build and nurture relationships with retail partners serving as the initial point of contact for our brand
  • Coordinate with regional distribution partners to arrange product presentations and sample deliveries
  • Qualify potential retail partners and align them with appropriate distribution representatives
  • Maintain detailed records of all outreach activities and outcomes in company systems
  • Create efficient introduction pathways between retail locations and field sales representatives
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders in the retail beverage industry

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with a neutral professional accent suitable for US market interaction
  • Minimum 34 years of experience in sales development or outbound business communication within the US market
  • Demonstrated success in professional phone and email communication
  • Ability to work US Eastern Time zone business hours
  • Strong proficiency with business communication tools and CRM systems
  • Professional written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated with proven ability to work independently while meeting team objectives
  • Experience in beverage retail or consumer goods industries preferred
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving outreach targets
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet professional home office setup
