Job Description
At Amazon Games our ambition is to create bold new experiences that foster community in and around our games. Our team of game industry veterans is developing and publishing live service AAA multiplayer games and developing original IPs including New World: Aeternum and an upcoming title based on The Lord of the Rings with our studios and teams in Seattle Orange County San Diego Montreal and Bucharest. Amazon Games also publishes bestinclass games in close collaboration with developers leading with Lost Ark from Smilegate RPG THRONE AND LIBERTY from NCSOFT and King of Meat from Glowmade as well as the next major entry in the Tomb Raider series from Crystal Dynamics.
Amazon Games is looking for a Lead Publishing Producer to support our game production teams. Our teams develop and publish AAA games that can be played on and across multiple devices (PCs consoles and mobile) leverage the Amazon flywheel and provide opportunities for players to become creators. We think big create original IPs and work only with the biggest and most beloved global IP licenses. We are customerobsessed and build our games with a focus on innovation and quality to nurture longterm relationships with our global customers and partners.
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will establish and run production processes organize and present schedules and data and facilitate communication for a multidisciplinary organization including Development Marketing Business Operations and multiple external agencies.
A day in the life
As a Lead Publishing Producer you will:
Create and manage production processes including establishing milestones tracking progress and managing risk with multiple contributors including the development team external agencies and internal partners
Implement approval and review processes to ensure buyin from product leadership marketing leadership and Amazon Games executive leadership
Use data and current tasks status to ensure predictability and integrity of delivery schedules across full portfolio of titles in live operations
Experience in Games Industry (supporting title Development Release or Live Ops)
Passion for games!
Proven experience scheduling teams managing external partners and supporting live service products
Understanding of live services and the complexities of running a live product
Passion and broad knowledge of project management and product process
Experience with a wide variety of development practices including waterfall scrum/agile etc
Crossteam collaboration skills
