The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager include but are not limited to managing small to mediumscale projects at the manufacturing site ensuring timely budget adherence and alignment with operational goals. This role involves crossfunctional collaboration with diverse teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver business value.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Strategy :
Lead and manage small to mediumsized projects ensuring scope timeline and budget adherence.
Develop detailed project plans schedules and resource allocation strategies.
Track project progress and proactively address risks and issues.
Support senior project managers on largerscale initiatives as needed.
Periodically provide administrative support to site leadership when needed.
Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:
Collaborate with production engineering quality and supply chain teams to align project objectives with operational priorities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders facilitating clear and effective communication.
Prepare and present project status reports to management and relevant teams.
Budget & Resource Management:
Assist in developing project budgets and tracking expenditures.
Optimize resource utilization and identify potential costsaving opportunities.
Work with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of materials and services.
Risk Management & ProblemSolving:
Identify project risks develop mitigation plans and escalate issues when necessary.
Lead root cause analysis for projectrelated problems and drive corrective actions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives involving Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Required Qualifications Experience and Education
Bachelors degree
25 years of general project management experience in a regulated industry preferred.
Proficiency in project management methodologies.
Strong communication problemsolving and leadership skills.
Experience with project management software (e.g. MS Project Smartsheet or similar).
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement techniques is a plus.
PMP or CAPM certification is preferred but not required.
