As a Director Business Development you will be responsible for growing GMV sales for Walmarts ecommerce marketplaces. You will generate growth by driving marketplace adoption among the top sellers as well as maximizing seller sales in those markets. Seller acquisition is a priority and you will be responsible for generating leads recruiting and onboarding to Walmart marketplaces. You will increase adoption of Walmart services to improve seller performance and experience. You will work closely with external partners to create lead flows as well as manage your teams pipeline of prospective Sellers. You will demonstrate strong leadership investing in coaching training and developing your team to succeed. You will attract and retain Aplayer talent and create a culture of collaboration accountability and speed to deliver results.

To drive Seller performance you will foster collaboration with international markets and crossfunctional teams. Your role will be key in executing Walmarts cross border trade ecommerce strategy.

Youll make an impact by:

  • Managing a Sales Pipeline Prospect and manage a pipeline of highvalue strategic accounts across key categories. Develop creative solutions to identify new prospects and build a strong pipeline.
  • Building Relationships with Key Decision Makers Develop relationships with key influencers and decisionmakers within senior management of prospective accounts along with internal stakeholders and working teams to develop business plans that exceed expectations.
  • Understand Sellers goals decisionmaking processes and success metrics. Driving New Partner Success Oversee the onboarding process for new strategic sellers and develop initial targets and actions plans that accelerate item setup and improve oVer quality and discoverability.
  • Advocating For the Platform Champion and evangelize our platform and its evolving capabilities to prospective sellers. Drive awareness and adoption of new seller services. Attend trade shows and external events to generate new partner opportunities.
  • Being Seller Obsessed Listen to seller feedback challenges and needs. Partner with cross1functional teams (e.g. product site operations partner support etc. to continuously improve the platform and experience.
  • Thinking Creatively Explore and innovate! Develop and test new partnerships or services that create shared value for sellers customers and Walmart.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business or a related field and 5 years experience in Business Management Supply Chain Marketing OmniChannel Merchandising or a related area or a related area OR 7 years experience in Supply Chain Transportation Business Management Marketing OmniChannel Merchandising or a related area
  • 5 years experience in Business Development Planning Business Management or a related area
  • 2 years of experience leading and completing crossfunctional projects
  • MBA
  • Speak fluid Mandarin o Experience leading and completing crossfunctional projects
  • Experience in Seller Business Development (Hunter)
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing scheduling time management and meeting deadlines
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Detail and resultsoriented with sense of urgency

The annual salary range for this position is $110000.00$220000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
