Senior Strategic Buyer for Global Indirect Procurement - IT Telecom

Your responsibilities

You will join the IT & Telecom category team within Global Indirect Procurement based in Denmark. You will collaborate closely with the IT & Telecom Procurement Manager support the planning implementation and followup on corporate strategic IT purchase activities within the IT & Telecom category. As the business partner on corporate agreements globally you will work closely with stakeholders within IT Digital & Enablement and other business areas across the VELUX Group.

You will develop and maintain the stakeholder network to better understand the business needs. You will also contribute to identifying new optimisation opportunities and secure supply continuity by focusing on quality delivery and cost.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Negotiate and manage IT contracts
• Oversee global strategic sourcing activities together with business peers
• Contribute to IT category strategy development and plans
• Analyse and understand the IT category spend
• Create maintain and enhance awareness around our IT procurement services
• Achieve results by strategically developing our suppliers their products and services
• Assist our Advanced Buyers in Regional HUBs and Productions sites across Europe on local sourcing activities.

Your qualifications

We expect that you:

• Possess extensive experience in strategic IT procurement within a global environment
• Have a solid commercial mindset and the ability to work independently in negotiating and implementing complex deals
• Hold a bachelors or masters degree within a relevant field of study
• Can interpret IT contracts effectively
• Have experience with supporting systems e.g. SAP Ariba SAP ECC and MS Power BI
• Experience with SaaS and Cloud solutions is beneficial
• Communicate effortlessly in English both spoken and written
• Wellorganized person motivated with a focus on delivering highquality and visible results to internal stakeholders and colleagues
• Building lasting and meaningful professional relations across an organisation and enjoying working in a global intercultural environment
• High communication skills with the capability to contribute to teamwork
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a deadlinedriven environment
