Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Utilize water and approved chemicals to thoroughly clean and sanitize production line machinery.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing tasks to ensure hygienic conditions in offices restrooms production lines and common areas.
- Safely remove and dispose of trash and waste materials according to industry standards.
- Effectively clean floors walls and surfaces in wet and slippery conditions.
- Restock cleaning supplies promptly and notify supervisors when inventory levels are low.
- Regularly inspect cleaning tools and equipment reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work closely with team members to meet sanitation schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform additional general labor tasks as assigned to support facility operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods perform repetitive tasks and frequently bend reach and lift items weighing between 2550 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a wet humid and fastpaced production setting.
- Minimum 6 months of sanitation or cleaning experience in manufacturing or similar settings.
- Must wear steeltoe waterproof boots to ensure personal safety on the job.
