Position Summary:The Special Education Quality Standards Coordinator is responsible forensuring the districts adherence to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) andother state and federal regulations related to Special Education. The Special Education QualityStandards Coordinator supports the Director of Compliance in monitoring auditing andensuring all special education services and documentation meet legal requirements. This rolealso involves providing training guidance and technical assistance to schoolbased teams tomaintain compliance and improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree
Masters degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum three 3 years teaching experience in special education
Lead teacher experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oklahoma teaching certification inspecial education
Indepth knowledge of IDEA and the state adopted record system and associated stateregulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Proficient in relevant software tools for data management and documentation
