Overview

*Salary Range:$125000$145000*

Salary is dependent on licensure

The Vice President of Developmental and Brain Injury Clinical Services will oversee and coordinate all clinical services and supports across Developmental and Brain Injury programs. This person will work to further the organizations vision to develop promote and maintain high quality integrated clinical services across service lines. They will oversee a department of licensed clinicians assuring all clinical regulatory requirements are met. Responsibilities will include supervision of clinical staff and consultants and overseeing all clinical aspects of clinical assessment service planning interventions and clinical training. As a senior leader the Vice President of DS/BI Clinical Services will work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure quality service provision in day and residential services. This includes the promotion and implementation of Positive Behavioral Supports systems throughout the division.

Responsibilities

  • Work with DS/BI Senior Leadership to assure quality integrated services across the DS/BI division. Collaborate with individual service line leaders to ensure that the needs of those supported their families and our funders are met.
  • Lead a department of behavioral clinicians (LABAs LICSW MA level ABA) in the provision of clinical services across all DS/BI service lines. Assign clinical responsibilities based on need and availability of resources.
  • Lead the development and consistent implementation of DS/BI clinical programming and supports ensuring the integrity of clinical service delivery. Current clinical department practices maintain a strong emphasis on applied behavior analysis trauma informed care and positive behavioral supports.
  • Ensure clinical department compliance with all funder regulations.
  • Provide effective competencybased clinical supervision support evaluation/feedback and administrative oversight to clinical staff and consultants.
  • Assist in the assessment process for all DS/BI referrals; assigning/delegating to the appropriate clinician as indicated.
  • Maintain a key role in the implementation of PBS systems across DS/BI service lines. Promote PBS through training implementing modeling and tracking of Universal Targeted and Intensive Behavior Supports and other evidencebased clinical interventions (e.g. motivational enhancement cognitive and rehabilitation adaptations substance use management cognitivebehavioral therapies).
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical trainings to address organizational and individual clinical programmatic needs. Support the continued professional development of department members.
  • Provide backup direct clinical support during supervisee absences as needed.
  • Collaborate with Advocates fiscal team to assure services fall within budgetary parameters.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively within multidisciplinary teams that include people receiving services Shared Living Teams Brain Injury Residential Supports Teams Developmental Residential/Day Teams.
  • Work collaboratively with funders and prepare for and participate in funderrelated meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Social Work or related field and current Commonwealth of MA professional licensure (Licensed Psychologist Licensed Independent Social Worker Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst Licensed Mental Health Counselor).
  • Minimum of five years of training including post graduate course work or formal training and experience in function based behavioral assessment and treatment.
  • Minimum of three years clinical supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in the treatment and support of individuals with developmental disabilities and/or brain injuries particularly those with cooccurring psychiatric disorders.
  • Experience supporting people with substance use problems or disorders helpful.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations and able to be responsive to the broad range of diversity dimensions of people supported their families program managers staff and supervisees.
  • Ability to use an Electronic Health Record to document medical necessary clinical services.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
