General Description and Classification Standards
The Director of Stakeholder Engagement and Communications serves as a key advisor and strategist responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive engagement and communication plans that foster meaningful connections between Councilmember Matt Westmorelands office stakeholders and the broader community. This position requires strong communication skills strategic thinking and the ability to build partnerships with diverse communities and organizations to achieve the Councilmembers policy and legislative goals.

Essential Capabilities and Work Environment
Required physical lifting and sensory capabilities are requirements to perform the job successfully. Typical environmental conditions associated with job.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required for community events and Council meetings.
Must be able to travel locally within Atlanta for meetings and events.
