Job Description
What is The Role
Elastic is seeking a senior B2B tech PR professional to join its Global Communications team to lead US PR. The successful candidate will play an important role in elevating Elastics brand awareness and affinity with our customers partners and investors. Ideally this person is located in or near San Francisco California.
As a savvy PR pro you will proactively collaborate with the marketing and solution teams in addition to the US Public Sector leadership to identify and prioritize communications needs. Your focus will be to build and nurture a strong US PR program to drive interest from media in Elastic and our technology.
What You Will Be Doing
This leadership role requires an individual who can work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams demonstrate strategic thinking and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and externally.
The right candidate is exceptional at media relations and storytelling and will possess notable writing skills strong program management abilities and the ability to craft integrated communication strategies to drive business results.
You are wellconnected with tech and business journalists and can develop cutthrough news stories to help frame conversations with relevant media resulting in meaningful coverage in business and industry publications.
In addition you are passionate about working with internal stakeholders across functions and geographies to ensure alignment within a global marketing team. This position reports to the Senior Director Global PR.
