About the Role:
SG2 Recruiting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) or Lead System Architect (LSA) to join our team and play a critical role in modernizing key systems for a government agency. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your Pega expertise and leadership skills to design develop and deploy enterpriselevel Pega applications that will streamline processes and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to analyze user needs and translate them into innovative Pega solutions.
Design and develop complex Pega BPM applications including user interfaces workflows data models and integrations with external systems.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams ensuring adherence to best practices and Pega development standards.
Perform solution architecture within the Pega environment ensuring scalability security and performance.
Design and implement robust class structures application frameworks and data models.
Integrate Pega applications with existing business databases legacy systems and web services.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues coding bugs and performance bottlenecks.
Conduct system performance testing and optimization.
Maintain the security and integrity of all Pega applications.
Stay abreast of the latest Pega technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Clearance is mandatory.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
10 years of experience in software development and analysis demonstrating a strong foundation in objectoriented programming and software design principles.
5 years of handson experience with Pega PRPC including designing developing and implementing complex Pega applications.
Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) or Lead System Architect (LSA) certification.
Advanced knowledge of Pega PRPC 8.x/23.x .
Strong understanding of Pega Class Hierarchy and best practices.
Experience with Java J2EE XML JSP and EJB.
Familiarity with web technologies including JavaScript CSS HTML5 and XML.
Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum).
Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
