Senior Engineer
Role Description:
The equity front office development role requires an experienced senior engineer/architecture with a proven track record of delivering scalable highperformance systems. The successful candidate will be part of a global team working on our GETS platform for the growing equity business. The ideal candidate would demonstrate a passion for software development and be familiar with the recent trends in technology. Were looking for a person who will be responsible for designing and implementing robust scalable and efficient trading application and work closely with global team. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work quickly and effectively under time pressure are expected.
Equity Trading Front office senior engineer responsible for:
Front office trading technology development for Equity Trading
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with ability to solve complex issues
Designing and implementing scalable robust onprem and cloudbased applications
Engage with trading teams and developers gather requirement and assist with development and support of equity business related solutions
Ability to work and communicate well with the regional/global team including business users on daily basis
Skills and experience required:
10 years Frontoffice development experience along with at least 3 years of experience in software architecture design and develop of global trading applications
Domain experience of frontoffice equity trading.
Java expert level with at least previous handson experience
Strong experience with RDBMS and cloudbased database having experience with inmemory cache/computation is preferred
Expert in Cloud platforms and containerization tools like dockers and Kubernetes
Strong Kafka experience for reliable and scalable data streaming
Strong experience in designing and implementing/migrating existing application to microservices based solution and strategy
Strong networking fundamentals and experience building low latency messaging based applications
Experienced in design stability & resiliency applications
Looking for someone who has worked in a capacity with high intensity and attentiveness to trading environment
The Salary Range for this position is $175000$275000
