Director of Behavioral Health Services
A Director of Behavior Health Services is needed in San Jose CA.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and management to ensure that Behavioral Health services align with and support company goals.
- Develop programming responsive to the behavioral health needs of the community and support the integrated care model.
- Design service delivery to provide highquality services in the office community and school sites.
- Coordinate integration efforts between behavioral health and other AACI programs.
- Ensure that all programs comply with licensing legal and funding requirements and regulations.
- Actively participate in Executive Leadership Team meetings and attend agency Board meetings.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of program staff.
- Develop and implement staff training and professional development plans.
- Develop support mechanisms for and ensure the productivity of program staff.
- Oversee the internship and training program for doctoral masters bachelors and peer partner behavioral health interns.
- Oversee the development and management of program budgets ensuring that programs meet financial targets.
- Work with program managers to monitor financial performance analyze variances and implement performance improvement strategies.
- Monitor evaluate and report on the quality and outcomes of programs and services.
- Monitor County contract productivity and budgets analyze data and report.
- Prepare and review contracts and memoranda of understanding and write reports to funders and contract monitors.
- Pursue curation and expansion of existing programs and development of new programs including diversification of sustainable funding sources.
- Foster opportunities to leverage and integrate existing Behavioral Health programs with Primary Care and Wellness to align with organizational strategy.

Requirements
- Masters Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Work Psychology or Marriage Family Therapy) required.
- Licensed in the state of California as a Marriage Family Therapist Social Worker or Psychologist.
- 10 or more years of related work experience.
- Five or more years of management/supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge of mental health treatment and interventions.
- Knowledge of licensing and regulations for MediCalcertified providers of behavioral health.
- Knowledge of educational and training requirements for providers of behavioral health services.
- This position may require driving. A valid California drivers license current personal auto insurance and an MVR sufficient to maintain insurability under agency auto liability policies.
- Knowledge of substance abuse treatment and practice preferred.
- Knowledge of countycontracted MediCal programs is preferred.
- Verbal and written fluency in English is required; Bilingual skills in a second language (particularly Spanish Mandarin Vietnamese) are desired but not required.
