Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION:
Collaborate with the maintenance manager to satisfy internal and external customers while optimizing the technical and human resource needs of the area. Develop and maintain the support of the Safety Environment and Quality (Sustainability) policy throughout the area and plant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical resource for plant maintenance team.
- Support and lead the maintenance team in maintaining a safe environment.
- Schedule activities and coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to maintain product quality and quantity equipment availability and equipment reliability.
- Maintain a training schedule to ensure maintenance employees maintain the applicable certifications and training.
- Regularly communicate both in writing and verbally on specific projects and needs of the area.
- Maintain open communication between areas to ensure safety environmental quality and product quality to meet internal and external customers specifications.
- Provide information to maintenance employees on performance training and development of area personnel.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or sciencerelated field preferred and at least 510 years of experience in an industrialrelated environment and prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of both mechanical and electrical
- maintenance. Strong leadership supervisory project management communication organizational and administrative skills.
- Competent with computer programs (Excel/Word) high level of mechanical aptitude and strong mathematical ability.
- Must possess current US employment authorization; sponsorship not available for this position.
