This person works as a team to provide food service that is safe accurate timely and responsive to the customer and patients needs. Food service includes stocking assembling and serving portioncontrolled hot and cold food replenishing and stocking stations and cleaning and sanitation of food service areas and equipment in a safe manner. This person may be crosstrained to work in several areas within Nutrition & Food Services. Retail Food Service includes serving cashiering bussing and barista duties. Patient Food Services includes assembly and delivery of patient meal trays. Catering Food Services includes setup serving and cleanup of catering events across UCSF Health sites. Sanitation Services include detailed kitchen equipment deep cleaning thorough floor and floormat cleaning waste sorting and removal as well as dishroom and potroom duties. Storeroom includes receiving rotating stocking and issuing food and supplies to support food service operations within Nutrition and Food Services as well as units within UCSF Health as well as maintaining relationships with vendors. This position may be responsible for cash credit card and debit card transactions. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer patient and staff interactions and is looked upon as the ambassador for the Department of Nutrition and Food Services.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
