Job Description

LiRoHill is currently seeking fulltime Construction Inspectors for public housing projects throughout the five boroughs.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications
- Inspect all material upon arrival to the jobsite to ensure compliance
- Review plans to identify potential violations
- Follow through on the work from mobilization through completion ensuring satisfactory work completed
- Communicate and coordinate all facets of work with the subcontractors and concerned parties
- Perform resident relocation walk through with tenants
- Document inspections and report any issues
- Determine the quality of materials being used throughout the testing
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in engineering or construction management a
- 6 years of experience in building construction trades including residential construction (finishes and applications)
- Ability to work weekends (including Sundays) when needed.
- Knowledge of construction materials methods and procedures
- Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations.
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications and generate changes to the scope of work as required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Collaborate with multiple team members and have the ability to multitask.
- Ability and coordination to safely maneuver around a construction site.

Compensation: Min: $85000 Max: $100000
