Looking for a Network Administrator opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day Discover this great opportunity in our Naples Italy location.

CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition analysis and development of technical capabilities which automate processes or improve transparency for analytics and decision making.

As the CNIC N6 Network Administrator you will provide support the installation configuration testing maintenance and upgrade of physical and virtual routers physical and virtual switches physical and virtual firewalls physical and virtual Intrusion Detection System (IDS) physical and virtual load balancers Universal Power Supply (UPS) Power Distribution Unit (PDU) systems network monitoring systems Authentication Authorization and Accounting (AAA) systems and server host network components.

This position is contingentupon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret Clearance

In this role you will:

  • Support the development design configuration/setup test maintenance and upgrade of Wide Area Networks (WAN) including but not limited to MultiprotocolLabel Switching (MPLS) static and dynamic routing such as Border Area Gateway (BGP) Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and other required WAN related technologies.
  • Implement or apply all applicable Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) industry best security and design practices and implement all applicable Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) security requirements.
  • Support regular security scans of network infrastructures using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanner or other required and approved network infrastructure security scanning tools.
  • Perform a regular back up of system configurations or setup.
  • Install configure maintain upgrade and administer a network monitoring system or systems to include the network monitoring systems database server and log collector if applicable.
  • Develop maintain and submit to the Government Technical representative physical and logical network infrastructure diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot and fix network infrastructure problems.

be successful in this role you will have:

  • An active DoD Secret security clearance
    • U.S Citizenship Required
  • An up to date Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification
  • High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of experience and technical training related to Information Technology Cyber Security Computer Science or another related technical field related to the job description
    • Or a Master degree and 4 years of relevant experience
    • Or a Doctorate degree with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Handson experience with minimum three 3 of the following four 4 areas;
    • Systems Requirements Operational Requirements Test & Evaluation and Training
  • Ability to troubleshoot Cisco Network switches/hardware
  • Ability to run ACAS scans and complete DISA STIGs on all network devices and to remediate inconsistencies identified
  • Ability to reconcile Cat 1 and Cat 2 weaknesses identified during scanning/STIGing

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency the salary range for this role is $85032.41 to $141720.69; however Serco considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience education/training and key skills.
