The Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) is seeking two 2 motivated and qualified individuals to fill our Staff Examiner (Financial Examiner 2 positions. These roles are within the Company Supervision Division and offers the chance to work from our Seattle Downtown Office.

About the Position

These positions are responsible for examining regulated entities for solvency and compliance with laws statutes or regulations in accordance with National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) accreditation standards and Agency policies.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

This recruitment may be used to establish a qualified pool of candidates for Financial Examiner 2 vacancies in the next sixty days.

This is a Washington General Service position. The monthly salary range for this position is $5643 $7589.

Additional premium pay of 5 will be applied to those positions with an official King County duty station.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

You must meet one of the required qualification options listed and any additional qualifications included in the required qualifications section.

Qualifying professional experience is defined as experience auditing analyzing or preparing financial statements: balance sheet income statement cash flow statement and notes thereto as an accountant auditor or examiner with a public accounting firm or as an accountant internal auditor or external auditor or examiner of insurance companies banks savings and loan associations municipalities etc. state or federal or private entities.
