Grand Chef Mauro COLAGRECO three stars in the Michelin Guide is looking for a Maitre dhotel.
YOUR MISSIONS
Responsible for opening and closing the restaurant
Takes part in the preservice briefing and passes on instructions to staff
Set up and install the restaurant and lay the tables
Welcomes customers
Ensures that the service runs smoothly and takes part in all operations: welcoming customers taking orders managing a row in pairs invoicing
Ensures customer satisfaction
Coordinates teams facilitates and regulates working relationships between frontofhouse staff and between frontofhouse and kitchen staff
Welcomes trains coordinates leads and organises the work of the team
Masters the menu and its products
Respects and applies hygiene (HACCP standards) and safety procedures.
PROFILE SOUGHT
You are recognised as an experienced autonomous and flexible professional with a great ability to adapt. Elegance discretion rigour and organisational skills will be key to your success in these positions.
Ideally trained in hotel management our future talents have :
You have at least 5 years experience in a gastronomic restaurant in the dining room including work experience
You have at least 2 years experience as a Matre d
You are bilingual in French and English
Excellent presentation
Indepth knowledge of reception service and frontofhouse work
A strong sense of customer service
Experience in the same position in a Michelinstarred restaurant is required
Mastery of the arts associated with gastronomy and the art of entertaining (floral art tableware the art of service product knowledge etc..
Mastery of restaurant quality standards and/or R&C LEADING
Master the techniques associated with gastronomy.
Perfect command of customer relations (courtesy listening availability friendliness etc..
