SoC Quality Reliability Intern

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations from foundational services such as Amazons Simple Storage Service (S3 and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2 to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWSs services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization youll support the development and management of Compute Database Storage Internet of Things (Iot) Platform and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

As an intern you will be matched to a manager and a mentor. You will have the opportunity to impact the evolution of Amazon technology as well as lead mission critical projects early in your career. Your design code and raw smarts will contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the areas of distributed systems data mining automation optimization scalability and security just to name a few.


Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:

* Collaborate with experienced crossdisciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring to market innovative products and services.
* Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
* Create solutions and models to run predictions in cloud environment with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
* Build distributed data sources index and query systems that are scalable in order to support and create Machine Learning models and use them to optimize products quality reliability and performance.
* Design and code appropriate solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
* Work in a dynamic environment that will challenge your skills.

* BSc Student of Computer Science / Computer Engineering / SW Engineering / Electrical Engineering
