Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum 3 years experience in General Ledger accounting.
- Proficiency with Word Excel and MS Office products (including Outlook) required.
- Extensive Excel spreadsheet development and maintenance experience required.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environment especially one utilizing an ERP system is a plus.
- Assist in coordinating the financial planning budgeting procurement or investment activities of all or part of anorganization.
- Compile and evaluate financial information and prepare journal entries to general ledge accounts.
- Maintain chart of accounts.
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts income statement accounts and tracking of fixed assets and depreciation calculation.
- Reconcile bank accounts to General Ledger.
- Manage biweekly payroll process to include standard accruals.
- Manage state sales tax reporting and filing.
- Prepare calculate submit and arrange payment for excise tax.
