The Pharmacy Technician Trainee under the direct supervision of the pharmacist assists with the provision of quality pharmaceutical services. Foremost among these responsibilities are strictly adhering to detail in the performance of pharmacy procedures solving practical problems resolving conflict and implementing constructive change.

Education:
High School diploma or GED
Experience:
Experience in pharmacy is desirable.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Registration with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee within 30 days of hire. Must be in good standing with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy. Must obtain certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician and register with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to the expiration of the Technician Trainee registration as required by the Iowa Board of Pharmacy.
Valid drivers license when driving any vehicle for workrelated reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Writes reads comprehends and speaks fluent English.
Basic computer knowledge using word processing email and web browser.
