Job Description
Embark on an exhilarating journey as the Software Development Engineer for Amazons Gift Registry business! This highimpact role offers you to the chance to have significant impact toward Amazons growth in the gifting space.
Partnering closely with product and design and crossfunctional teams across Amazon you will help drive improvements on the gift registry CX and semaless integration of Gift Registry with the broader Amazon ecosystem. This includes new partnerships expanding prodcuts to new international markets launching registries for new life occasions and realizing our vision of allowing customerse to build their registries from anywhere on Amazon.
Your ability to deliver results while delving into new and ambiguous spaces will be integral to your success. You will collaborate closely with product and design to transform bold ideas into tangible scalable solutions setting new standards for customer engagement and loyalty. In this highperformance startuplike environment you will thrive on the challenge of aligning technical constraints with business objectives navigating complex systems and driving crossfunctional collaboration. 3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
