A Day in The Life of Our DevOps Engineer:
- Build and continuously optimize CI/CD process and streamline automation effort for server provisioning and applications deployment
- Build a resilient and scalable service infrastructure to accommodate regions
- Deploy monitor and scale application services
- Have clear and solid relationship with software development departments
- Plan and document work and projects
- Mentor team members and drive knowledge sharing
- Participate in project management and ongoing strategic planning
- Work closely with crossfunctional stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Participate in an oncall rotating schedule
Who you are and what youll need for this position:
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Significant cloud ops experience with AWS
- Understanding of securing cloud data and industry standards
- Passion to not only build great cloud infrastructure but a great product
- 6 years of experience in DevOps / SRE environment
- 6 years of experience of working with Linux and Windows systems
- Strong understanding and knowledge of cloud infrastructure components such as AWS (EC2 RDS S3 Storage Route53 and network appliances
- Handson experience architecting and securing cloud networking such as VPC peering subnet security groups
- Working knowledge of Jenkins GitLab or alternative CI systems
- Understanding of Active Directory DNS and Domain
- Familiarity with microservice architecture Docker Kubernetes
The salary range for this role is $160000 $210000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements including but not limited to skill set years and depth of experience certifications and specific location.
