About the Opportunity
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join the CORE Lab as a Research Associate. The Research Associate will engage in a range of research activities collaborate with lab members and actively contribute to ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with principal investigators postdocs graduate students and other lab members on various research projects within the domain of cognitive psychology.
- Assist in designing and developing experimental protocols data collection procedures and research materials.
- Conduct data collection sessions employing various experimental techniques such as behavioral assessments surveys and computerbased tasks.
- Assist in data preprocessing analysis and interpretation using appropriate statistical methods and software.
- Contribute to literature reviews and participate in discussions to refine research hypotheses and methodologies.
- Assist in preparation of research presentations for lab meetings seminars and conferences.
- Contribute to the preparation of research publications including manuscript drafting and literature citation.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of research activities data and results.
Qualifications
- Prior experience conducting research in a psychology laboratory setting is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- Detailoriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Selfmotivated organized and capable of working independently under supervision.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Ethical awareness and commitment to maintaining participant confidentiality and research integrity.
