Job Description
- Assist with the quarterly/annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Prepare and process monthly payroll
- Prepare and review financial statements balance sheets income statements and other financial reports in compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and review monthend closing journal entries including resolving discrepancies and ensuring entries are in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist in preparing internal and external financial reporting schedules
- Lead monthend and yearend closing processes including accruals and adjustments
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff fostering their professional development and growth
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts offering insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance the efficiency accuracy and overall effectiveness of the accounting department
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data for decisionmaking.
- Preparing and filing monthly GST returns
- Deduction of TDS and Preparing TDS return
Requirements
- Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
- Strong problemsolving analytical and organization skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as List relevant software/tools
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Leadership skills and experience in mentoring and supervising junior staff
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
