Position Summary
The Gordon and Jill Bourns College of Engineering at California Baptist University invites applications for a fulltime tenuretrack faculty position in Computer Science. While candidates should feel comfortable teaching a variety of different courses in the broad fields of Computer Science and/or Software Engineering industry experience and/or experience in modern software development platforms/paradigms machine/deep learning cybersecurity and data science is highly valued. Candidates should be prepared to support and contribute to various aspects of the Computer Science program. Multiple new positions are open to support a vibrant and rapidlygrowing program. Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Computer Science is preferred although candidates with a Ph.D. in a related field a masters degree who are working towards a terminal degree or have significate industry or research experience may be considered. Requires teaching at the undergraduate level and working with industry partners is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to support the mission of California Baptist University and develop evidence of a clear understanding and commitment to teaching service and scholarship through the integration of Christian faith and learning.
