Our team is expanding and due to some significant wins we are seeking aPrincipal Civil Engineerwith municipal water pipelines sewer design trunk main and water reticulation system experience.
Youll be a key member of KBRs Water team who in a joint venture with John Holland has been delivering Melbourne Waters complex infrastructure projects through major design and construction framework that will see us supporting Melbourne Water for well over a decade of continuous service.
In addition the team are delivering major capital projects to South East Waters record $1.5 billion investment as part of a new industry partnership between Abergeldie BMD & KBR (ABK). The 10year contract will see ABK plan and deliver major infrastructure upgrades in partnership with South East Water as part of a new integrated capital works planning and delivery model.

Who are you
You are a design focusedPrincipal Civil Engineerexperienced in detailed design running projects customer interaction and mentoring juniors.
You will be motivated by achievement outcomefocused and present professionally to peers clients and stakeholders.You will have previous experience designing major projects across water pipelines from 250mm1000mm diameter understand or have experience in sewer design trunk mains and pump stations through various stages of the design lifecycle.
You possess a pragmatic approach to the development of constructable design solutions and have proven commercial acumen in the delivery of water infrastructure.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- You have achieved MRWA design accreditation in both water and/or sewer fields.
- You are a Chartered Engineer (CPEng) and have RPEV accreditation or have eligibility to apply for this accreditation.
- You have demonstrated experience in the water infrastructure sector in a consulting environment.
- Proven ability to work in and lead engineering planning and design modelling teams work directly with water authority clients and manage projects to scope budget and program.
