Job Title:Associate Vice Chair for Research

Position #Requisition #35279

Job Summary:

The Associate Vice Chair plays a crucial role in the overall leadership and management of the research operations and strategic direction of the DFM. Together with the Vice Chair of Research this position assume responsibility for supporting the DFM mission area. This role requires a visionary leader capable of balancing their own research with a focus on promoting research needs and efforts of all faculty and staff throughout the DFM.

Examples of Work Performed

Key Responsibilities:

Provide research mission area leadership and assist the Vice Chair for Research (VCR) with the management oversight and coordination of research in the DFM

Provide leadership for key strategic areas in the Department

Represent and support Department research activities and external relationships

Work Location:

Hybrid this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule with onsite and offsite work as needed for inperson meetings in Aurora Colorado.

The starting salary range or hiring range for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.

The above salary range or hiring range represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is nonexempt. A stipend may be considered and may be part of the total compensation.
