Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic selfmotivated Project Engineer who thrives in a fastpaced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks in Engineering Department. The position is based in NAPOLI IT

Accountabilities
- Coordination of the engineering project team from the design phase to the final validation phase and analysis of feedback from the field.
- Management of the design review
- Management of project configuration
- Technical interface with the customer
- Management of project requirement with the support of the requirement manager
- Management of the project plan with the support of the project planner
Required Skills/ Knowledge
- Experience of at least 1 years in the railway industry with the role of Project or System Engineer
- Preferred past experience in Main Line / High Speed Rolling Stocks
- Knowledge of the basic concepts of the RAMS disciplines is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the main regulations relating to onboard systems in the railway business
- Knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word Excel etc.
- Knowledge of the electrotechnical electronic system engineering processes and the main regulations in the railway field is required in order to manage throughout the life cycle of the product and with an interdisciplinary approach the design activities from the design phase to the final validation phase and analysis of feedback from the field.
- Knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation with the aptitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas.
- Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative fastpaced multitasking international environment.
- Ability to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required.
- Availability for shortterm national and international business trip.
Desired Skills/ Knowledge
- Ability to manage and plan the assigned tasks independently and teamworking.
- Ability to analyze business requirements problemsolving attitude and business process analysis.
- Ability to face with the different internal functions (internal customer) and external (suppliers customers partners).
- Planning and organization.
- Versatile in learning and strong desire to remain uptodate with changes in technology and best industry practices.
- Strong business acumen & technical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attitude to work in an international and multicultural reality.
Education / Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Electrical or Vehicle Transportation Engineering or equivalent
Languages
Good knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory.
