About the opportunity
As the Lecturer in Paramedicine you will work as a key contributor within the College of Health and Medicine playing a critical role in advancing the University of Tasmanias mission through innovative education in healthcare.
In this position your primary focus will be to develop and deliver highquality teaching in Paramedicine courses integrating contemporary research findings into curriculum development to address the evolving needs of the healthcare sector. This role enables you to influence the future of healthcare education and practices aligning with the Universitys strategic goals of improving health and social outcomes on a local and global scale.
What youll do:
- Deliver exceptional teaching experiences utilising innovative methods and technologies to engage students in both online and facetoface settings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Paramedicine curriculum.
- Actively participate in community engagement initiatives fostering relationships between the university the industry and wider community stakeholders.
- Pursue opportunities for professional growth and contribute to the academic community within the university.
What were looking for:
- Registration as a Paramedic or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- The ability to build collaborative partnerships and identify new opportunities across the profession.
- Significant clinical and/or education delivery experience in paramedicine.
- Ability to embrace and implement best practice educational methodologies and create exceptional teaching experiences.
- Experience in using online learning platforms and developing online learning content.
- Strong inclination towards teamwork and collaboration with peers students and external partners.
- Works methodically to organise and plan tasks upholds standards and works quickly able to multitask to produce outcomes.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $150759 comprising base salary within the range of $110992 to $128854 plus 17 superannuation.
